Mom flew into Sioux falls from MT and we ventured up to the cities for boo at the zoo. It was awesome that everyone (college girls), well nearly everyone, was able to get together and share their children. The kids have grown so much and lucky for me my children survived the evening without naps. I was a little nervous as Kade does not skip naps and Adelyn usually gets really sassy but they each had just a little extra energy. Adelyn loved the boo at the zoo. Her favorite was the Timberwolves, she's still talking about "the big wolves" she saw.
Sunday we spent with my mother's side of the family. We carved pumpkins, did a scavenger hunt, made milk carton skeletons and had wonderful food!! It was a great day with mom's siblings and lots of cousins. Adelyn and Kade spent many hours collecting leaves, seeds, and rocks in their new trick or treat bags.
Monday we woke up early to hit a local small farm for a big straw slide and tunnel. We had a wonderful time launching off the slide into a big pile of loose straw. Life was good for the weekend with simple activities. We had a wonderful time thanks to the hospitality of Lisa and Deanna.
