Packed up like gypsies with the back of the truck full we trudged half way across South Dakota to the reservation to camp on the Missouri river. We arrived at our campsite, it was lovely. Brian hopped out of the truck to set up camp. With a few people watching, Brian had a two year old temper tantrum... If you can only picture the event when Brian discovered he had packed everything but the tent poles. Choice words where used and people stared at our glorious family. Ok so this was the only bad part about our camping trip which turned out to be a blessing. We got a hotel and enjoyed the outdoors. The kids spent many hours throwing rocks into the river, it was a beautiful area which reminded me of eastern montana with rolling hills. We all went pheasant hunting and Adelyn loved it. "Dad shoots them and I carry them." Adelyn was so proud of her dad. We had a great time fishing too without catching anything. The kids played with the minnows for many hours as well. It was good to get away and enjoy the wilderness in south dakota.

I love that Addie's isn't even fazed by what she's holding! She looks so proud.
